Joesph Rinaggio, DDS, MS

Dr. Rinaggio graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology.  He then enrolled in the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.  After graduation, he stayed to complete a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and his Master of Science degree.  He completed a Fellowship in Oral/Head and Neck Pathology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

He joined the faculty of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and eventually entered a residency program in Endodontics.  Afterward, he joined the faculty at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine as an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Endodontics.  He was a member of the International Visiting Faculty of Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur, India.

Dr. Rinaggio is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.  He has given many lectures and presentations on oral mucosal pathology and jaw lesions both nationally and internationally.  He has authored numerous abstracts and journal articles. Dr. Rinaggio also practices pathology and is an attending pathologist at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey.

In his spare time, Dr. Rinaggio likes to read, play guitar, travel, and spend time with his three children.
