All on 4 and All on 6 Dental Implants Near You

The All-on-4 dental implants in Flanders approach is an implant-based solution for patients who have lost their upper or lower teeth because of accidents, injuries, trauma, disease, or others. This incredible method of care helps you restore your smile and the function of your teeth. This treatment option gives you a complete set of dental implant-supported replacement teeth that feel, look, and function exactly like your natural teeth.

Missing teeth can generate many problems, not only in terms of your facial appearance but the overall functionality of your mouth. Living with missing teeth affects not only your smile but also your well-being. Until now, traditional dentures were the only treatment option for this problem. Various other treatment options, such as dental implants, are available today. At our clinic, we provide All-on-6 dental implants near you that fully restore your smile and the functionality of your teeth.

All-on-6 Dental Implants Procedure

All-on-6 is a high-tech alternative to traditional dentures. It uses six strategically placed dental implants to provide stable and comfortable upper and lower teeth support. Traditional removable dentures can replace missing teeth but are not a permanent solution. All-on-6, on the other hand, provides a permanent solution to your problem. As a result of restoring your smile and the functionality of your teeth, All-on-6 Dental Implants in Flanders offers you an improved quality of life.

What Are the Benefits of All-On-6 Dental Implants?

  • All-on-6 dental implants provide a quick and effective solution for restoring upper or lower sets of teeth. We place conventional dental implants strategically in your mouth to permanently support your upper and lower teeth.
  • The replacement teeth look and function the same as natural teeth.
  • There is no need to use denture adhesives or take out your artificial teeth to clean and maintain them. All-on-6 dental implants are a permanent and fixed solution.
  • You need only a few appointments for this procedure to be completed. Once our dentist finds you are a suitable candidate for the treatment, you need to visit us for impressions and the placement of the dental implants and the denture. We will also give you a temporary restoration to continue your daily activities.
  • Our All-on-6 dental implant treatment may also reduce the need for bone grafting surgery.

Difference between All on 4 Implants and All on 6 Implant:

  • Different numbers. The noticeable difference between both systems is the number of implants set in the jaw.
  • All-on-4 involves four implants, while All-on-6 involves six implants. The four implants go on the upper jaw and lower jaw. The six implants parallel the four implants, with two more implants to help tighten the dental bridge.
  • Bone grafting. With the all-on-6 process, there is a higher chance that you will need bone grafting as the bone in the back of the mouth usually is more limited.
  • All-on-6 is more stable. The all-on-6 implants give extra strength. However, this depends on the patient’s mouth, gum, and jawbone state. The other two implants in the all-on-6 dental implant enhance the jaw.
  • All on-6 costs more. The all-on-6 is more costly than the all-on-4, as there are two additional implants and potential bone grafting.
  • All-on-6 is more challenging to clean. The more implants there are, the more posts to clean between.
  • Differing dental implant shapes. The all-on-4 procedure uses angled dental implants, while the all-on-6 procedure uses straight implants.

When choosing between all-on-4 vs. all-on-6 dental implants, your dentist in Flanders can help you make the best decision for your oral health. Contact the Rand Center for Dentistry when you need new teeth and want only the best dentistry.

GBT AirFlow – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT)?

Guided Biofilm Therapy is a modern dental hygiene protocol that focuses on removing biofilm (bacterial plaque) in a gentle, efficient, and highly effective way using specialized technology such as AIRFLOW®, PERIOFLOW®, and PIEZON® instrumentation.

What is AIRFLOW®?

AIRFLOW® is an advanced device that uses a combination of warm water, air, and ultrafine powder (erythritol or glycine) to remove biofilm, stains, and soft deposits from teeth, implants, and gum pockets—without scraping.

How is GBT with AIRFLOW® different from a regular dental cleaning?

Traditional cleanings rely heavily on hand instruments and ultrasonic scalers.GBT/AIRFLOW®:

  • Targets biofilm first
  • Uses a gentle, warm spray instead of scraping
  • It is more comfortable, especially for sensitive patients
  • Reaches deeper into pockets and around implants
  • Reduces the need for manual scaling
Is AIRFLOW® safe for patients with sensitive teeth or gums?

Yes. The warm-water technology and fine powders make it much less abrasive than traditional methods. Many patients report no sensitivity during treatment.

Is AIRFLOW® safe for dental implants, crowns, and bridges?

Absolutely. GBT is designed to safely clean around implants (peri-implantitis prevention), ceramic crowns, veneers, bridges, and orthodontic brackets, without damaging surfaces.

Does GBT replace traditional scaling completely?

Often, yes—but not always.
Most soft deposits and biofilm are removed using AIRFLOW®.
If calculus (tartar) remains, the clinician uses PIEZON® PS ultrasonic tips, which are more conservative and comfortable than traditional scalers.

What powder is used in AIRFLOW®?

Most commonly:
Erythritol (14 μm) → very gentle, safe for all surfaces
Glycine (25 μm) → often used for periodontal pockets
Both powders are much finer and less abrasive than baking soda.

Who is a good candidate for GBT?
  • Patients with sensitive gums
  • Orthodontic patients
  • Implant patients
  • Periodontal maintenance patients
  • Children and teens
  • Patients who prefer a more comfortable cleaning
Does GBT hurt?

Generally no. AIRFLOW® is warm, gentle, and significantly more comfortable than traditional scraping. Most patients prefer it after trying it once.

Is AIRFLOW® messy?

New-generation AIRFLOW® devices use controlled warm water and fine powder—much cleaner than older polishing systems. Patients generally describe it as clean and refreshing.

Is GBT safe for patients with respiratory conditions?

Yes. The powder is ultrafine, and devices include high-efficiency suction systems. However, patients with severe respiratory compromise should discuss with their dentist first.

Is AIRFLOW® good for stain removal?

Very. It removes stains from coffee, tea, wine, and smoking faster and more comfortably than traditional polishing cups.

How often should GBT be performed?

Most patients benefit from GBT at regular 3-, 4-, or 6-month hygiene intervals, depending on their periodontal status.

Kevin C.

I have always been afraid of the dentist but I have 100% trust with them. I am usually seen by Jenn, who makes the process as relaxing as possible. Today they removed my wisdom teeth, they were very attentive and careful from the beginning.

Heidy A.

The people are always friendly. The dentists and dental hygienists are top shelf. They are professional yet keep things light and easy. When I admitted I never have and never will floss they didn’t yell or put me in a time out. They encouraged and kept my teeth clean and cavity free regardless .
