Just experienced an amazing cleaning at Rand Dental with Kim, one of the highly skilled hygienists at this practice. Kim used Air Flow technology and not the traditional scraping technique. This new technology to clean my teeth is state of the art and a cleaning like no other I have ever experienced. It was actually enjoyable to have my teeth cleaned this way. I would highly recommend to have your teeth cleaned regularly and only done with this Air Flow technology employed by Rand Dental, a highly innovative and technologically advanced dental practice! Absolutely a fantastic operation. I had a permanent retainer removed. They were quick and efficient and explained everything that would happen next. I opted to stick around for a replaceable retainer that would take a few hours and they even called help in to get it made in a few hours so I didnt have to drive back in a few days. This was not planned and I was an inconvenience in their schedule. The receptionist even entertained me with my random questions while everything was being set up. Please consider going here. First visit just for consultation. I've had Crohn's for 40 years and the past three or four years my teeth have gotten to the point one by one I'm losing them no matter what. Crohn's can affect your mouth. All these years and it finally caught up to me. I had a major infection and my periodontist got the infection out and it was huge and I lost the implant he put there and two teeth because of it. Never even knew I had an infection. Periodontist couldn't help me any further and I needed to find someone who could. Finally, found Rand dental and so far the oral surgeon was wonderful. He gave me his honest opinion. I will meet with the prosthodontist next and hopefully come up with treatment plan that will best suit me. I'm already giving them five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everyone I talked to treated me like a friend. For my son’s first dentist experience, I appreciate how patient everyone is. The staff is very accommodating and I’m sure they deal with unhappy, scared toddlers, kids but they handle it so well and you can tell they care and aren’t annoyed. I also had a wonderful experience with the front desk staff when I called and had concerns about what my son’s possible treatments would be and how would he react and they took their time to walk me through and made sure I had no other questions. I wish there was a way you can give more than five stars.. My story.. I'm 44 years old and I haven't been to the dentist since I was a kid. At first it was financial, and it seemed a little out of my reach to be able to spend that extra money. Once I did have the means to go to the dentist, it had been so long I guess I was worried of what they were going to say to me. Was I gonna have a bunch of cavities? Were they gonna have to take all my teeth away? I didn't know all I know is I was terrified to find out. Finally, my wife built up the mustard in me to get in the chair. So we made an appointment for both of us. Needless to say I was scared to death. I tried everything in the world to put the appointment off because I didn't want to go. I'm glad I did! As soon as I got to the office, they got me right in the room where I met the amazing Kim! And the first thing she did was ask me why I was so nervous and what made me nervous and I explained exactly what I mentioned above. She told me sit back and relax. She's going to take some x-rays because there's only one way to find out and no matter what it was going to be OK. I immediately felt at ease. After the x-rays and a very thorough cleaning the dentist ( DR. Sheryl LI) came in and informed me that I had no major problems with my teeth. No big cavities no teeth had to come out. I was really fortunate. She was one of the nicest doctors I've ever met in my life. I'm very fortunate. The only thing left to do is some root planing and scaling then possibly some braces:) If you are terrified to go to the dentist like I was you need to meet somebody like Kim! I am forever grateful:) like I said, I wish I could give them more than five stars. As for my wife she was feeling very similar, in terms of anxiety of going to the dentist and she was met with the amazing Jenn! Not only did she get a beautiful cleaning, but she felt completely relaxed, and had a great time, chatting it up whilst her smile was being made beautiful:) I highly recommend this office! Dr. Kathari did perfect work replacing a crown from start to finish. He used a precise amount of novacane, so that all drilling was pain free, yet I could drink coffee after leaving without numbness. I called the office in a panic today at 2 pm on a Friday. My crown fell off of my implant screw on my front tooth. I told the person on the phone that it was an emergency that I come in right away to have my crown cemented back on because I couldn't be seen with the screw hanging down from my mouth. The wonderful person that I spoke with, said "how fast can you get here." I got in my car and drove right over. They took me almost immediately, and Dr. lin did a great job cementing my crown back in my mouth. The actual work was performed fine to very good. It's the interface of the insurance selection and the front desk involvement in co-pay out come to patient. We are told to shop ourselves. I feel the patient is underqualified to work with patient oral needs history/future and the many plans offered to dental patients. No one would know these many dental plans better than the front desk; not the patient. In a world where seniors such as myself, will have their S.S. cut by the needs of the 5 million illegals we have allowed to pour into this country. If was you I would worry about the availability of senior patients after that! As a retired business owner I would be looking to lobby your insurance companies to offer the best care for a no co-pay for seniors. or you will suffer a loss in that segment of your market. Hey there is always Halloween and all the candy!!! That helps!!

I've been using this dentistry for years. Though there were ups & downs in the past, things have improved. They are also very efficient when dealing with your insurance. I plan to use them for years to come. Update: 8/28/23- I needed a procedure that required a lidocaine injection. I've had multiple traumas in the past with these injections. I had laughing gas prior to the start of the procedure. There were hiccups with the administration initially, but it worked in time. Dr. Kotari & Alicia, Dental Assistant, were kind, patient, & respectful during the process. I had a pain-free procedure & left feeling very good about the whole process. If you've had dental trauma in the past, I recommend this center. Clearly, they've been properly trained to handle these kinds of situations.

Ortho Patient Review: As a dental assistant that worked with multiple orthodontists I can proudly say I am glad I chose Dr. Kim as my orthodontist. He will have you open and bite multiple times , as well as rotate your head multiple times so he can observe every single angle in your mouth. That’s something other orthodontics don’t really have you do or they just have their assistants do the work without supervision. I had voiced to Dr. Kim that I am moving to a different state and he was able set goals for us (ortho treatment is a doctor/patient team work). Dr. Kim always explained very thoroughly each step he would take in every visit. Dr. Kim continues to take courses to expand his education and I can see it in the quality of his work. I am happy to say I finished my treatment on time to move and I just can’t stop starring at my smile in the mirror.

After years of only being able to get an appointment with my previous Dentist, months in the future... I found Rand Dental, got scheduled for a cleaning and checkup IN ONE WEEK! And needed a filling to be replaced, and got an appointment in the afternoon of the same day!! The hygienist, Julia, was amazing... She explained step by step of the cleaning and x-rays, was professional and easy to talk to. The Dentist, Dr Li, was also easy to talk to, and explained every throughly her recommendations for my dental health. I've already requested to always have Julia be my hygienist, as today was, by far, the best cleaning of my teeth in my life. The office staff was friendly and quick to answer all my questions, and schedule my next appointments. I could not recommend this Dental Practice highly enough, five (5) stars is just not sufficient.

I had a good experience with Rand Dental, the oral surgeon and entire staff were great and very knowledgeable. The only reason i rated them a 4/5 was I was scheduled for a 3:45 appointment on Friday and the anesthesiologist only administers anesthesia in the morning not afternoons. This I found out 2 days before my scheduled appointment where my employer was under the impression I was working 1/2 a day and cutting out early. So I then had to take the entire day off for the procedure as-well as Monday for recovery time per surgeons request. Not a big deal but in my line of work we don’t get sick days or vacation. It was frustrating but scheduling manager James took care of it for me and got it done to meet my needs. Still had to take off of work on Friday of the surgery but glad i got it done the day it was scheduled for. 3 wisdom teeth out and i think it took about an hour, it was great. Great work everyone my family and I will continue to attend your practice for all our dental needs!

I'm new to this office due to my previous dentist closing his office without notice. I had a dental emergency and this office takes my dental plan. I called them and explained my situation. Without question, I was given a quick appointment and my immediate problem was taken care of. My second appointment was for a cleaning and xrays. A plan of care was discussed. This is going to be lengthy but worth it I promise. To begin, I have had the only difficult time trying to find a dentist that was 1. In network with my ins 2. Uses anesthesia/laughing Gas (terrified so I need to be put to sleep) 3. Was able to fit me in asap! I called on a Tuesday inquiring of the first 2 #’s and was scheduled that very same Friday!!! The lady who picked up the call was super sweet, super patient, and super accommodating. Come to find out we share the same birthday thank you so much for such a great introduction of personality to the office Pernille(office manager) I am a firm believer that the face of the office is not only your check-in staff but the very first phone call to an office which can alter one’s opinion on whether or not they even want to be bothered scheduling,and for sure Pernille was a sweet heart. So arrival day of my appointment comes and last minute my daughters (she’s 2) dad was unable to stay with her for me. I called the office with the expectation of them telling me I had to reschedule but nope! They said no worries, bring her in!!! Moms- we all knw this could have surely went the other way around but they still allowed me to keep my appt and bring a toddler! I arrive at the office and all of the front desk/check-in staff wore warm smiles that was welcoming and were quick to check me in. Now let’s skip to the good part, (I battled myself with telling this part-but deemed it necessary for anyone who may need a sense of persuading in their opinion to visit with the office due to the staffs great characteristics) I have battled with sister Mary Clarence (menstrual cycle) my whole life. Of course who decides to make their grand entrance as I’m sitting in the dental chair (🤦🏻♀️😳) none other thn her and her entire force that gave me no choice but to ask the staff for help. How embarrassing is tht?! But the staff, Iulia-the hygienist who is sweet, super knowledgeable, and was greatly helpful, Laura, Gabby, Stephanie (front desk staff) that not only helped with my toddler, but kept her safe, smiling, and super awesome personalities esp with my curse that occurred and helped me sneak out the back door to go home and get my self situated and even allowed me to COME BACK and finish my appt!!! Dr Li and her asst Tamard super sweet, PATIENT (my scary behind) and helpful. All of the above mentioned have gone above and beyond all in my first visit!! I don’t care if I move to another county. I will stay with this office as they have a loyal patient in me! To the readers I’m sry for the lengthy review but it was very necessary and I can only be so grateful towards the staff for their kindness in their acts of humanity which these days are far and few. Having 5 kids, the one stop for their cleanings, orthodontics and wisdom tooth removal has been super convenient. I have always had severely sensitive teeth and an overwhelming amount of anxiety before routine dental cleanings. I had Dan, one of the hygienists, for the first time last year and again today. I've been a patient of this practice since August 1990, shortly after it opened. It has grown tremendously in those 32 years. I have been very pleased with every visit. The wait time from arrival to being taken to the exam room is usually fairly short (a few exceptions over the years if they're really busy). The staff is friendly, attentive, and provide excellent information about your care and recommendations for improvement if it's needed. I've encouraged others to give this practice a change, and I've never received any negative feedback from those I've referred. My most recent visit was for oral surgery to take care of an abscess above my upper front teeth. The surgery went off without a hitch and that is all due to the skill and talent of my amazing surgeon, Dr. Otero. He made sure to fully explain the procedure as well as take the time to answer any questions I had. I really couldn’t have asked for anything else. I also want to take this opportunity to thank one of the dental tech’s, Alicia. I think she could tell that I was a little nervous as we were preparing for the surgery. Without hesitation, she took an opportunity to break the ice and joke around. Before long she made me feel comfortable and I started to become more at ease. Alicia was so attentive that she would provide words of encouragement like “You Got This” when she could tell I was struggling with the injections in the roof of my mouth. She definitely helped me make it through this surgery. I can say that I would love for Alicia to assist on all of my dental procedures. Her level of care is amazing and it shows that she truly cares about her patients well being. With all that being said it is evident that Dr. Rand has built an amazing practice with an outstanding staff that care about their patients. I would highly recommend them.

Where to begin?!? Rand dental has been the best experience for both of my kids, my wife & I. The second you walk in, you are greeted by the most wonderful staff. The office is clean and welcoming as well. Our previous dentist and Orthodontist were a little rough on our kids so they developed a fear of all Doctors. I am so happy with our experience today. From the moment we got there until we walked out, every person we encountered was amazing. I’ve been a patient there since 2015, Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Rand are the most professional and knowledgeable dentists I’ve ever met or dealt with. Dr. Rand met me for an emergency at the office during the beginning of the Covid crisis which to me meant the world. Dr. G called to see how I was feeling after my wisdom teeth got pulled. I received a text message saying I had a balance due. I clicked on the link in the message but it didn't provide details. To pay the balance I had to provide a credit card but could not make a one time payment. Giving my credit card would allow them to charge me any time they wanted. Not best practice. I tried calling their office but It was a Friday afternoon and the dentist's office was closed so had to wait till Monday to find out what was going on. 1. it wasn't my balance - it was my wife's and daughter's copayment and deductible. Detail should have been provided for clarity. 2. I was told they are going paperless so would not send me a bill - printed or electronic. They said I can determine what I owed by reviewing my insurance claim payment statements from my insurance company. 3. They sent me a ledger which is a printout of the 60 transactions on the account. While the staff has been friendly this is crazy. We should be given a bill to compare against the insurance statements to verify services that have been rendered. I don't care if it's printed or electronic.

Let me just start by saying what Drs office calls you to tell you the appointment before you started late and they are running just a little behind? I was so thankful to get that call. But that is how this office is. The front desk staff is great. You hardly have to wait in the front waiting room before you are called. Hygienist was really nice, did a great job on my teeth, and dentist was really good at explaining how to handle a filling that is really old. Great all around experience.

Because of this, it further delayed when I would be able to schedule my procedure. When everything was resolved, I was told I had to wait another two months just to get the consultation! I was speechless. I asked to see if Dr.Rand could be of help and he jumped on the phone in less than a minute and got me in for a consultation that same day and I was able to book my procedure the following month. I had my procedure done first week of July. Had Dr.Rand not stepped in to help, I would have probably gotten my procedure done just this last month. They scheduled my consultation originally for the last week of august meaning by that time, most of September would have been booked up so I’d have to pick a day in October for the procedure. I originally was frustrated at that situation but it was quickly rectified and it made me feel respected as a patient that he put effort in working with me instead of letting this incident fall through the cracks. Mistakes happen but at the end of the day, I’m always going here for my dental work. I recommend to anyone reading this to give this place a try

Dr. Rand is the best answered my call and questions and goes out of his way to make sure his patients are cared for. Never had a dentist like him before. Like any medical practice waiting can be a pain, but that is because they do not want to do half a job, they want to do it right. They do their best and if not they supply additional options. Although the procedure was painful (well numbed) the surgeon was sweet and funny. Kept me relaxed thru the extraction and cared all the way through. Her assistant was amazing too (I wish I remembered her name) but to her (38-same age) thank you so much, and the other technician talking to me from the other room telling me it’s okay cause she heard me talking to myself freaking out (thought it was God lol) Thank You! Had to get a tooth extracted and the first dentist who "tried" seriously just used a pliers and nearly gave me whiplash. He eventually have up Went to go see Dr Karim here and it was a world of difference. Having pre-existing conditions, recent surgery with a shoulder implant, I developed a continual toothache in a crowned tooth. Dr Rand's office monitored the tooth prior to my shoulder implant surgery. We hoped that the tooth would hold. Unfortunately, as I will be 70, my luck and age were against the tooth. I had to have antibiotics. Overtime, I had to have an extraction. I am so grateful to the Rand Team of dentists and staff. They understood my difficulty, worked with me, and squeezed me into the schedule for the extraction on a Saturday morning. Thank you so much, Dr Rand and staff! I feel so much better!

My entire family has gone here. Even got my boyfriend to switch to this dentist and drives from Newark just to go.. They are nice, clean and friendly.. really said due to our family being on medicaid we are no longer allowed to be patients as of September 2021patients with medicaid not only not accepting new patients but also not continuing their care (unless you have braces). My son has been going there since birth... 12 years 2 times a year.... he has alot of behavioral issues but this place he has grown comfortable with.. all down the drain... why do you think this is??? Oh that's right they are greedy and get more money with private insurance.. oh and if you leave the practice on your own (not kicking you out because your medicaid) they charge you for your own records.. only get a few of your records free if they decide your not good enough because you have state insurance. It's a real shame... on the plus side since so many families will be affected by this situation so the wait time to see a dentist when needed won't be so long...

Went in with a broken wisdom tooth. Dr. Fernandez was great. He told me what he was going to do and did it quickly and efficiently. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! I absolutely hate going to the dentist but the front desk and staff here are some of the most lovely, efficient, proactive and professional people ever. They are incredibly kind, they are knowledgeable, they make you feel totally comfortable, and they are always present. As an example, this seems like a silly acknowledgement, but standing at the front desk window waiting to be helped with two front desk staff, I've had so many instances where I'd be waiting and waiting standing in front of the receptionist or having to get their attention even while standing in front of them, and another staff that was not busy at all also ignoring I was there because I wasn't standing in front of them -- not at Rand. If one member of staff was busy, the other was actually proactive in taking the attendee -- something I've rarely experienced in most medical visits unfortunately - but the staff at Rand actually seem happy to be working there and it shows. They are also incredibly personable and actually remember who you are. And this is 8 am on a Saturday morning too. To boot -- I had all 4 of my wisdom extracted from their oral surgeon, Dr. Gugala -- Absolute Magic. I really can only describe him as a Dental Wizard. Barely feel any pain at all, questioned if I actually had the impacted teeth removed, but sure enough I've got the stitches to prove it. It's been 12 hours since, and I'm just in absolute amazement at how good I feel. I was really expecting to be in a lot of pain and disorientation, but I feel completely normal except for a VERY mild reminder that I had oral surgery this morning. I actually only bother writing reviews when I feel super strongly about the facility, nevermind bothering to do it the same day I attended -- but I absolutely cannot recommend this oral surgeon and this facility more, they're just simply an amazing combination of skill and hospitality under one roof. And if anyone else is scared of the dentist like me, this is the place to go, and Dr. Gugala once again, is just an incredibly skilled and professional surgeon. Thank you so much!

After a crazy last year, things seem to be getting back to some normality and I am super excited, especially after my 1st DDS cleaning this year at Dr. Elliot J. Rand, DDS. The other day I got a text message about openings for cleanings, quickly responding, and booked an appointment, which happened yesterday, and it was a great experience and felt like I should share good news because there has not been a lot going around. My appointment was for 9:30am and I arrived a few minutes early and was in the chair about 9:38am getting x-rays, then a cleaning. I’ve been going to this dentist for several years and I am very satisfied with every experience I’ve had at this office, great receptionists, RDH’s, RDS's & Dentists. The item that is most important that I want to share is about the RDS, Tracy; was assigned to do my x-rays and clean my teeth. RDS Tracy was awesome and a true professional. Tracy is professional, courteous, great sense of humor, and performs her craft with precise precision. Tracy provided great facts and feedback throughout the entire appointment and made the experience pleasant. If you are looking to schedule a cleaning and a pleasant experience, I would personally suggest Dr. Elliot J. Rand, DDS. And ask for Tracy, RDS to perform you’re cleaning.

My two-year-old daughter fell and hit her face loosening one of her front teeth I called Rand Dental told them how it's that I was a managed to call me back within an hour with an emergency appointment and I saw doctor Rand himself he was very nice as always was very kind to her as he took x-rays and we were in and out within 15 minutes putting me at ease knowing that she wouldn't accidentally swallowed the tooth if it had been too loose.

I had the best dentist visit I’ve ever had thanks to the dental assistant, Tracy. She was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable – she answered questions in layman’s terms that I hadn’t been able to get clear, understandable answers for in years. The only complaint I have is regarding COVID-19 Safety protocols. The waiting room is small (maybe 25 feet wide and 15 feet long) and there was 4 patients, including myself, in the room waiting to be checked in / out. It made me feel very uncomfortable but I did have 2 masks on.

I've got nothing but great things to say about Rand Dental! I've been coping with clinics and urgent care type dentists unnecessarily for the last 8 years on Medicaid. Not only does Rand accept and work with Medicaid, they are fantastic in every way! Very professional, kind, gentle and painless, from the phone calls to the desk, the assistants and hygienist, to the chair. They not only do general dentistry, but have on staff periodontists, endodontists, prosthodontists, orthodontics, and pediatric dental specialists. They have the latest equipment for 3D modeling and manufacturing crowns (on-site!) and really go above and beyond to accommodate and make you comfortable without judgment. I'm so glad I found them. Rand Dental will be my permanent dentists from now on! (after 40+ years and countless others) Great team of people, strongly recommend for any dental issue you might have.

I was looking for a new dentist and I found out about them reading online! I mentioned it to my brother and said that he goes there and had so many nice things to say about Dr.Rand and his staff. So I went in for my first appointment and the nice thing is I was able to fill out patient information before I got there, I really do not like sitting in a waiting room swing it at the doctor's or dentist office. They made everything super convenient. I met with Helen she came in first and was a really warm person and then I saw Dr.Fernandez, I was very impressed with how they handled everything. I had broken my bridge and a tooth in a accident at my house. Dr.Fernandez explained a lot of things and what needed to be done, I do not impress easily but I have to say the whole experience was GREAT! The place was also super clean and comfortable even during these Covid-19 times. I HIGHLY reccomend them and really appreciated not feeling rushed and the time the doctor took with me. I've been going to Rand for a couple years now. At first I had a not so good incident during a root canal. But luckily that was it. I recently had Nalani clean my teeth, and will have her, for that procedure from now on. She was very pleasant, answering every question honestly and explained everything as she went. She was nice to talk to, had good music on, and showed a high level of care. In the future she will be the only hygienist that cleans my teeth. I would recommend asking for her.

As an individual who neglects and deprives ones health and oral hygiene for decades I finally committed myself to self-care. I was pleasantly presented with the utmost respect and proper precautionary measures in place due to the virus. There facility appeared to be very sanitized and effective measures were in place to prevent germs from spreading. Upon my initial visit with the dentist I was greeted with a smile and questions pertaining to personal oral hygiene concerns. The dentist performed a thorough cleaning with not even the slightest discomfort. The dentist quickly and effectively diagnosed and made recommendations for further treatment. I followed his suggestions and immediately booked an appointment with availability for the next day! My return visit availed the exact same experience which there consistency and service is second to none. They sincerely care for there clients and in return I learned how to care for myself with a confident new smile!

Dr Rand and his staff took their time during my first visit. Full set of Xrays. Dr Rand evaluated my prescription from another dentist to extract a tooth. Turns out Dr Rand was correct and the tooth does NOT need extracting. He sat with me and reviewed all my xrays and gave a thorough exam. The entire office staff were very nice, professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr Rand and all his associates. On my first visit his office actually called my insurance company to confirm I could get a full set of xrays and thorough exam ( because I had this about a month prior and they were horrific). However, I’ve read reviews pertaining Rand Dental Associates and the reviews were all good experiences so I figured give it a shot. So when I say they are truly amazing they really really are! Rich the hygienist is absolutely amazing! He has the greatest bedside manners I’ve ever had in my life. Constantly asking if I’m okay, reassuring me that everything is going great, talks to me throughout the whole process, didn’t even hurt me once (besides some sensitivity which is my own doing from a tongue ring), Made me feel extremely comfortable and at one point didn’t even feel like I was even at the dentist! Nothing but great experiences at this practice. Everyone is pleasant from the receptionist confirming appointments and greeting you, to the dental assistants, to the oral hygienist, to the doctors themselves. All procedures big and small are handled very professionally and explained in full detail. They don’t make you feel rushed, even if you are the last appointment at night. They make sure all your questions and concerns are addressed, and in a friendly manner. They are really good with communicating with your insurance. My insurance likes to try to deny requests, but Rand has is great about resubmitting for approvals. I am very glad my wife found this place. I can't rave enough about the service provided by Dr. Rand of Rand Dental in Flanders, NJ. Today was one week after I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed (not by Dr. Rand who is a dentist but by an oral surgeon). For some strange reason one of the incisions began to bleed - a gusher of blood. Today being a Saturday afternoon, I called Dr. Rand's office since he is my dentist to ask guidance. I was told to put a soaked tea bag on the site and leave it for 30 minutes. I tried this process and had to throw out tea bag after tea bag as the blood kept soaking through and making me choke. I recalled the office and luckily Dr. Rand had just stopped in (he was not working that day) and agreed to stay at the office until I could get there (a 30 minute drive). Dr. Rand proceeded to pack the gum and when the bleeding stopped sew up the site. What a kind, generous man to spend almost 2 hours on his Saturday taking care of me. Thank you Dr. Rand!

As a [not easily impressed] professional within the dental industry with high expectations and knowing proper protocol, standards & practices, etc. and being one who micro-scrutinizes every finite detail (practitioner's education, experience, history, patient reviews, disciplinary notices, ADA, NJBOD & NJDA standing, malpractice, etc.) especially focusing on hygiene, I must say that I am impressed with Dr. Imanuel Babayev & his staff. My daughter recently had two wisdom teeth extracted and prior to the procedure Imanuel & staff were respectfully open minded & receptive in listening to & addressing my well founded concerns. The operational area appeared clean & organized, medications were current and the procedure went well whereby my daughter experienced no complications and recovered quickly. What impressed me most about Imanuel was that he was very respectful & engaging; upon being questioned he was completely void of the typical doctor's arrogant ego (which I know all too well) notwithstanding my daughter was complication free. Imanuel has earned my seal of approval and I went as far as to share the above with my contacts at NJBOD & NJDA. This review is limited to Dr. Imanuel Babayev and not meant as an endorsement for the entire practice as we did not interact with the other parts or other practitioners within this practice.

I went in prepared for a root canal. Insurance company-who have never seen my mouth-instead of using Dr’s time efficiently. Ins made it a look see. Then when the tooth can’t be saved. They will approve extraction in a minute. If you like an office that is welcoming and cares Rand is for you.

We were running 10 minutes late & they took us right in. The whole staff was very friendly and professional. The assistant that was cleaning my daughters teeth was very patience with her and did an amazing job. I was prepared for them to tell me she needed braces, because hey that’s their bread & butter so to speak. Braces are a huge mark up and most insurance companies pay little to no part of it. To my surprise, they told me she has a small over bite and a little crowding but they felt she didn’t need brace. WHEN DO YOU EVER HEAR THAT!!?!? I couldn’t believe it. So on top of having amazing customer service, they are honest. Did I mention their appointment schedules are so flexible, and they send you a text when they have opening. I am highly satisfied with my decision to come here & I would highly recommend coming here for anyone looking for a great dentist.

Prior to my exam w/ the periodontist, the dental assistant, Sienna, explained that she needed to complete a series of bite wing X-rays. Despite my reflex issues (which required much more time on my part), Sienna completed the X-rays efficiently and with minimal discomfort for me. Sienna’s explanation of the procedure, her sense of humor and her technical/interpersonal skills were very much appreciated. I have been a patient at Rand Dental for many years. About a year ago or longer I had a bad experience with one of the pediatric dentists and one of her assistants who were rude (Don't want to put their name out but I just read a bunch of reviews on her and saw she isn't good with kids I guess.)My daughter was 5 at the time and has a hard time getting the X-rays done of her teeth. They asked me to leave the room which I did and I waited in the waiting room. It took longer then expected and no one came out to get me so I just went back there. My daughter was sitting on the chair hysterically crying by herself while the dentist and assistant were on the other side of the wall doing who knows that. No one came to get me and no one was comforting her, so that just made me so angry but I bit my tongue because my daughter needed work done. I ended up calling and telling someone at the desk my experience but I was willing to give them another shot. Next time we went back we got the same lady and you could tell she was just being so fake it was ridiculous. Today my daughter had an appointment and we had a different pediatric dentist and she was AMAZING along with her assistant. My daughter had no problem getting the X-ray done, the dentist and her assistant had conversation with my daughter and were making her laugh. This experience was a total turn around to my past experiences there. I don't know if that other dentist still works there, and if she does, I will not be making any further appointments with her at all. I do not recommend the first dentist we saw, but this one I do for sure. Even when we left and I was waiting at the front desk, my daughter turns to me and says "I want to come back tomorrow." I was shocked because she used to dread going there. Thanks to the awesome dentist and assistant today, it really made a huge difference and made my daughter actually excited about going back.

I really like Rand Dental. Myself and my 3 year old both go here and it’s always been a nice experience. The dentists and staff are friendly. The only complaint I have is the one day I waited almost 2 hours from my scheduled appointment time to see the oral surgeon for an extraction. It seemed as though the office had overbooked people from the look of the waiting room. But other than that, I recommend them!

I finally met the man who started this practice, Dr Elliot Rand himself, after going to the Center for years now and he took care of me today. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that we think and act alike, call it having “old school work ethics” in a modern day environment. He went the extra distance for me, performed two procedures instead of just the one that was pre-scheduled, which would have required coming back for a second visit, and I probably screwed up his afternoon (LOL), but that’s the kind of man he is. Dr. Cheryl Li was an excellent Dentist and her Assistant Helen was very informative and helpful! Dr. Li was very thorough and patient while doing my exam and still managed to get me out in a timely manner; which I happen to like. Dr. Li seemed to have extensive knowledge in general dentistry and know exactly what she needed to do for me as her patient. I transfered my children to Rand Dental after some suspicions that their current dentist was not doing things properly. Well I was right and I'm so happy I switched. All 3 children were seen today and had a pleasant experience despite some bad news but I feel like now we are in good hands and things will be properly taken care of. Only negative about today was the dental assistant my son had, she was not very pleasant and made me feel like an awful mother over fruit snacks. Hopefully we don't have her again but I won't let one bad experience ruin the overall great environment. Looking forward to getting some appropriate dental work for my family

I recently had the pleasure of having a one day crown done at Rand dental. If you aren’t familiar it’s a very neat process with 3d imaging of your mouth taken to make a new tooth in just a matter of a few hours. NO temporary crown needed and no multiple days of appointments. Dr Rand was a pleasure to deal with and really made a difference with my teeth. He went the extra mile and had my teeth polished for me and even took care of a nearby filling so that my teeth would look the best they could when he was done. Granted, one or two of the receptionist staff could use a behavioral and professional overhaul but they're not working on my teeth so I'm not too stuck on that as a problem. Most are nice, and like everywhere, there's always a few bad apples that just hate being at their job and doing their job with a smile. Dr. Babayev is an amazing and skilled Dentist. I was dreading my appt and worked myself into a tizzy about it because a lot of places just can't seem to give me enough novacaine. Dr. Babayev surprisingly was able to numb me enough with only just a couple of uncomfortable pinches but that is to be expected, we are talking about dentistry and the mouth after all but he was very understanding and could tell I was anxious, and he and his dental assistant did a great job calming me and reminding me to breathe which helped with the numbing process. Two teeth had to be removed and one of them was so broken down already (bottom one) that I don't know how he was able to even grab onto it. The top one came out in seconds followed by the bottom one in about the same time. Never felt pressure or heard breaking which I was warned about and anticipated all for naught, it was all a painless procedure for the most part. All in all, Dr. Babayev is an amazing Dentist and I never felt pain during the procedure which to this dental scaredy cat means EVERYTHING!! Thank you again!

I am unhappy with the communication I have not been getting. Pardon the puns but it is like pulling teeth trying to get a straight answer, or a correct dental plan. Would have been nice to be able to Talk to Dr. Rand and let him know what is going on in his practice. So I received a call from Dr. Rand today, it appears that I and his staff have been talking about two different things. I was incorrect on what I was assuming was my dental plan. So Dr. Rand took the time to explain to me what was actually going on and he will be talking to his staff about the miscommunication we were having. I am happy to say he has his finger on the pulse. I honestly cannot stand going to the dentist.. however, my experience coming to Rand Dentistry has been fantastic ever since having Monica as my dental hygienist. She is the only person that I trust enough and actually look forward to seeing and allowing to work in my mouth. She has no problem explaining every single thing that she is does, she's extremely friendly, very kind, and just an overall sweetheart. If you are unsure of a place to go for the dentist I would recommend coming here but I would HIGHLY recommend asking for Monica!

I drive two hours every time I need work done (which has been a lot over the summer) because I can't find a good dentist near me. I've gotten root canals and fillings and never had a bad experience. Rand was really nice and helpful. Dr. Fernandez did all my fillings and crowns and was really great, checking on me throughout to make sure I'm okay. They use to have a single office and the dental cleaning I had many years ago was not the most pleasant experience, the person that did the cleaning was very rude, and the procedure was horrific. I just returned for their services due to change in my insurance, and I have to say they have expanded not just the office, but the staff as well. They have a very clean office, the procedure was painless and quick, the new staff members are professional, knowledged, respectful, and courteous. I'm not happy about the month of waiting for my next appointment, but considering I was in the nursing field for 12 years, I understand the process. Took an uneasy 7-year-old to get three cavities drilled and couldn't believe how well it went. Dr. Singh is a saint. She worked fast while she sang songs and talked calmly about what she was doing. Afterwards, my daughter wanted me to take pictures of her teeth so she could see what happened to the "sugar bugs" Dr. Singh chased away. They have TV's above the chairs and a cute token system kids can use to get a prize afterwards. Painless - in more than one sense of the word!

As always, my visit at Rand Dental was a pleasant one. Last year a 25+ yr old post & crown in front of my mouth came loose b/c the root fractured. This meant it had to be removed & after 3-4 mos. an implant placed followed by 4-6 more mos. for it to be crowned. The idea of going 7-10 mos. w/o a front tooth had me visibly (& understandably) upset, but Dr. Rand was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! He explained a few solutions including "The Snap-On Smile" that I opted for b/c it'd ENHANCE MY ENTIRE "iffy at best" SMILE during the healing process; Money very well spent! For the final restoration (a cap & 5 veneers) Dr Rand used the latest technology to more accurately "scan" my mouth rather than having me bite into gooey impression putty. When my cap & veneers arrived, he was on vacation but he actually flew in for the day b/c he knew how excited I was to finally get my new smile! Thanks to Dr Rand's impeccable work, for the first time in my life I can actually say that I HAVE A GORGEOUS SMILE! :D

My 7-year old daughter just had a baby root canal done. The care that she received was outstanding! The staff explained everything to her, and made her feel very calm and comfortable.
